The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) of Darussalam Gontor University visited the Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) of UNAIR to prepare for accreditation on its campus.
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) received a visit from the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) of Darussalam Gontor University on Friday, October 17, 2025. The event took place in the meeting room of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building, Faculty of Pharmacy, UNAIR.
This visit aimed to strengthen inter-university relations and serve as a preparatory step for FIK, Darussalam Gontor University, in facing the accreditation process for the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional study programs. Through this visit, FIK Gontor hoped to gain insights and lessons related to academic management, study program governance, and educational implementation within the Faculty of Pharmacy, UNAIR, which has a long history and a reputation for excellence at both the national and international levels.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Darussalam Gontor University, and his staff, and was warmly welcomed by the leadership of FF UNAIR. On this occasion, the leadership of FF UNAIR was accompanied by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program and the Coordinator of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program.
The event took place in a friendly atmosphere filled with a collaborative spirit. In addition to discussions and presentations on the education system, curriculum, and academic quality development strategies at FF UNAIR, the two parties also exchanged views on the challenges and opportunities for developing pharmacy education in Indonesia.
This activity is expected to foster synergy and sustainable collaboration between the two institutions in efforts to improve the quality of higher education in the field of pharmacy.
