The International Regulatory Cooperation for Herbal Medicine (IRCH) is a collaborative network of herbal medicine regulatory authorities established at the initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO). IRCH currently comprises 49 regulatory bodies from various countries authorized to oversee herbal medicines. This network aims to improve the safety, quality, and efficacy of herbal products globally.
The IRCH Network regularly holds annual meetings with plenary sessions and workshops, focusing on collaboration, information updates, and strengthening the capacity of regulators in the field of herbal medicines.
Prof. Dewi's presence at this international forum recognizes the active role of Faculty of Medicine UNAIR in the development of herbal medicine science and regulation in Indonesia. In addition to strengthening academic and professional networks globally, this participation is also a strategic step in supporting efforts to integrate Indonesian herbal science into international standards.
