Prof. Noorma Rosita Appointed as Speaker at the Prestigious KSTI 2025 Event
Prof. Dr. apt. Noorma Rosita, M.Si., professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) and Secretary of the PUI-PT Skin Health and Cosmetic Technology (PUI-PT SCT), was appointed as a speaker at the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI).
The event took place on August 7–9, 2025, at the Sasana Budaya Ganesa (Sabuga) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). KSTI 2025 was a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) and ITB. The convention attracted more than 3,000 participants, including scientists, rectors, and undergraduate and doctoral students. KSTI 2025 also featured exhibitions from eight national priority sectors: energy, defense, digitalization, downstreaming, health, food, maritime, and advanced materials and manufacturing.
At this prestigious event, Prof. Noorma presented in a parallel session on the topic "Health." In his presentation, he presented the profile of PUI-PT SCT, Airlangga University's 6th PUI-PT, along with its achievements in research, development, and innovation in the skin health and cosmetic technology sectors.
Furthermore, Prof. Noorma also introduced various services offered by PUI-PT SCT, including learning/internships, research, community service, community/MSME mentoring, industrial collaboration, and more. He emphasized how these services positively impact society, both directly through safe and high-quality products and indirectly through strengthening the research ecosystem.
Prof. Noorma's presence at this national forum demonstrates the active contribution of Faculty of Medicine UNAIR and PUI-PT SCT in strengthening the role of science, technology, and innovation to improve the health and welfare of the Indonesian people, in line with SDGs 3 "Good Health and Wellbeing." This momentum also affirmed Airlangga University's commitment to continue synergizing with various parties to promote scientific and industrial progress in the country.
