Students of MA Alif Laam Miim Surabaya and SMAN 1 Karangrejo Attend FF UNAIR to Explore Information Regarding Further Studies
On Monday, June 16, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) received a visit from two schools at once, namely MA Alif Laam Miim Surabaya and SMAN 1 Karangrejo. The series of visit events held in the Hall of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building were attended by more than 100 groups consisting of teachers and students of the two schools.
Although the visit activities of the two schools were combined, the students seemed comfortable and enthusiastic in following the entire series of activities until the end. At that time, after the event was opened by the event host, the national anthem Indonesia Raya along with the Hymne Airlangga song were sung to start the event.
Afterwards, remarks were delivered by representatives of FF UNAIR, MA Alif Laam Miim Surabaya, and SMAN 1 Karangrejo. Dr. apt. Neny Purwitasari, S.Farm., M.Sc. as the Coordinator of the Student Commission who at that time gave a speech representing FF UNAIR. Next, followed by a speech delivered by a representative of SMAN 1 Karangrejo, Mr. Winarto S.Pd. Then the last speech by a representative of MA Alif Laam Miim Surabaya was delivered by Gus Ahmad Sarip Saputra, S.Pd., M.Ag.
In this activity, one of the members of the Student Affairs Commission, Mr. apt. Yusuf Alif Pratama S.Farm., M.Farm. explained in detail the profile of FF UNAIR by delivering material entitled "Getting to Know UNAIR Pharmacy". The explanation session regarding the profile of FF UNAIR seemed to be the most interesting agenda for students. They listened carefully to all of Mr. Yusuf's explanations.
The high enthusiasm of the students was also shown during the question and answer session. The questions that came from the students seemed to never stop. They asked several things related to the world of lectures, organizations, student activity units, and of course tips and tricks to be accepted as a FF UNAIR student. Some were even curious about the various types of natural material research that had been conducted by FF UNAIR.
At the end of the session, a group photo was also taken with the entire group from both schools along with members of the FF UNAIR student commission.
