Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan Visits FF UNAIR in the Framework of the Plan to Establish a Professional Study Program
Holding the title as the best pharmacy faculty in Indonesia, of course, makes the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) a "mecca" for many other universities. Several universities often visit FF UNAIR to explore information related to the curriculum, learning implementation, and facilities implemented at FF UNAIR.
On Tuesday, June 3, 2024, the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan (UMLA) visited FF UNAIR. At that time, the UMLA visiting team that was present were Dr.Virgianti Nur Faridah., M.Kep as the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Mrs. apt. Devi Ristian Octavia., M.Si who is the Head of the Pharmacy Undergraduate Study Program, and the Head of the Rectorate Secretariat and Lecturer of the Pharmacy Undergraduate Program, Mrs. apt. Primanitha Ria Utami., M.Farm. The three of them also came with their fellow colleagues, UMLA Pharmacy Undergraduate Lecturers, Mrs. apt. Fransisca Ditha Mayangsari., M.Farm and Mrs. apt.Irma Susanti., M.Farm.
The entire UMLA visiting team who attended were warmly welcomed by the Leadership and Staff of FF UNAIR consisting of Coordinators and Secretaries of Study Programs and Heads of Departments in FF UNAIR. This agenda was carried out smoothly in the Meeting Room of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building.
This visit was carried out in order to establish a Pharmacist Professional Study Program at UMLA. They felt that FF UNAIR was the right institution to be used as a model in establishing a Pharmacist Professional Study Program.
Dr. apt. Yunita Nita, S.Si., M.Pharm. as the Coordinator of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program at FF UNAIR at that time was very open to sharing information related to the curriculum and learning techniques that have been implemented at FF UNAIR. The UMLA visiting team also did not want to miss the opportunity to explore all the information in detail in preparation for the establishment of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program on their campus. In fact, the plan is that the UMLA Pharmacy Study Program and FF UNAIR will collaborate in the future.
On this agenda, the visiting UMLA Pharmacy Study Program team was also invited to tour the learning facilities at FF UNAIR, especially the OSCE Center and CBT Center which are usually used by Pharmacist Professional Study Program students to take exams.
