FF UNAIR Lecturers and Students Visit Sunway University for Benchmarking and Strengthening Collaboration
After attending the 2024 International Conference on Natural Products, Lecturers and Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) moved on to other important agendas on 12 September 2024. On that day they visited Sunway University Malaysia.
FF UNAIR and Sunway University have repeatedly collaborated on various occasions. Of course, the arrival of the delegation from FF UNAIR was welcomed with open arms by Sunway University. FF UNAIR lecturer, Mr. apt. Yusuf Alif Pratama, S.Farm., M.Farm. along with two students, namely Honey Dzikri Marhaeny and Angeline Felisca Tanujaya, were warmly welcomed by Prof. Long Chiau Ming who is adjunct Professor FF UNAIR.
The delegates from FF UNAIR were also accompanied by Dr. Amar Daud Iskandar Abdullah. Just like Prof. Long, he is also a lecturer at Sunway University who earlier this month came to FF UNAIR to give a guest lecture and participate in the 2024 Marine Drug Discovery and Development Conference.
The purpose of the visit at that time was for benchmarking and strengthening cooperation. There is a brief discussion regarding research and teaching collaboration. Not only that, the delegates from FF UNAIR were also invited to tour the campus facilities and even the laboratories. On this occasion, the FF UNAIR delegation gained a lot of new knowledge that could be shared with colleagues when they returned to their homeland for the advancement of pharmaceutical science.
Through this activity, FF UNAIR was able to support the realization of SDGs 17 "Partnership for the Goals".
