Airlangga Education Expo (AEE) 2022 has officially ended. Announcements of several Golden Ticket recipients were made at the AEE 2022 summit and closing event, Sunday (2/20/2022).
AEE is a series of events held by Universitas Airlangga as an information medium for prospective students. The closing of AEE 2022 was carried out at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) building offline and broadcasted live online on the Airlangga University YouTube channel.
Closing Ceremony AEE 2022 was attended by the Rector and Vice Rector of UNAIR, Chairman of PPMB, Director of the Center of Institutions, Dean and Vice Dean of all faculties at UNAIR, UNAIR students, and the general public who were registered.
The closing agenda begins with the opening by the Master of Ceremony. Then the announcement of the competition for unair educators, students, and students. The competitions were twibbon, TikTok, reels, and vlog. The results of the winning work were displayed at the session.
Furthermore, the reading of selected testimonials of visitors to AEE 2022. The testimonial was uploaded on Instagram and featured in this event. All testimonials shown include photos of merchandise obtained when visiting available booths. The announcement of the last competition is the AEE 2022 exhibition booth competition. The announcement was followed by the awarding of prizes to the winners for five categories with the number of winners in each category being five. Submission of prizes is carried out directly by the high-ranking officials of Universitas Airlangga to the representatives of each winner.
In closing, the Rector of Universitas Airlangga, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., delivered the AEE mission this year. "In the next year we can hold this activity even earlier. At the time of opening the SNMPTN registration has not been opened, "he added.
The AEE has attracted UNAIR participants or prospective students to register through extra tickets at the SNMPTN. There were recorded 780 more Golden Ticket registrants with details of FK 171 fans and FKG 68 fans. The Chancellor of Airlangga University considered that this number was fantastic and sharply increased. “Because there are a lot of fans, I'm sorry, we can't announce the golden ticket all today,” he said. Another reason is that the registration of SNMPTN has not been completed and the registrant file is still in the process of verification and proof. The Chancellor of UNAIR added that the announcement of all golden ticket recipients will be submitted after the registration of SNMPTN. It is planned that the event will be held in March 2022.
Afterward, Prof. Nasih announced five selected participants received Golden Tickets from FST, FISIP, FPK, and FTMM where FST received 2 Golden Tickets. The recipient of the Golden Ticket is summoned individually by the rector to introduce himself and the achievements achieved. The series closes with a photo with the recipient of the Golden Ticket, the associated dean, and the rector. Although there was an obstacle when calling the third recipient, the activity went smoothly.
On the sidelines of this opportunity, Prof. Nasih also expressed his appreciation to the winners of the AEE 2022 competition. According to him, in general, the work that has been shown is amazing.
