Achievements

With more than 80% of lecturers having postgraduate degrees, the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR is above the national requirement of lecturers’ educational background (50%). Currently, two lecturers are undergoing doctoral study in Japan, one lecturer is on a doctoral sandwich program in Germany, one lecturer is accepted to a master’s program in Australia, and six lecturers are undergoing doctoral study in local universities.

The lecturers of the faculty have accepted various competitive grants in the national level from the Directorate of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, from the KMNRT, and from the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Services Ministry of Health. Several lecturers are recruited by the Directorate of Higher Education as reviewers for the TPSDP program, as members of BAN-PT, as members of Reviewer/Research Grant Provider on the postgraduate level, and Cooperative Universities’ Research Grant, as well as basic research.

The lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy, UNAIR, have outstanding track records compared to other lecturers in Indonesia. Lecturers have published their research results as authors in international journals and invited contributors in international textbooks by renowned publishers such as the Academic Press, Springer Verlag, Marcell Dekker, Pergamon, Elsevier, and Harwood, among others. A large portion of students receive funding from various institutions with varying numbers of recipients. The figures are as follows:

Scholarship granters include PPA, BBM, Supersemar, Gudang Garam, Marubeni, Sumitomo, Widya Husada, Unilever, Telkom, Indofood, Bank Amin, Bank Niaga, etc.
