The 3rd Association of Indonesian Pharmacy Higher Education (AIPHE) International Summer School
In order to improve the quality and atmosphere of learning in achieving professional and superior graduate competencies in accordance with national and international standards, Association of Indonesian Pharmacy Higher Education Forwil IV will organize The 3rd Association of Indonesian Pharmacy Higher Education (AIPHE) International Summer School. Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) as a host of this event, whereas Faculty of Pharmacy University of Surabaya, Faculty of Pharmacy Widya Mandala Catholic University, and, Faculty of Pharmacy University of Jember are co-hosts of this event.
This annual activity, raises the theme that introduce local knowledge, traditions, and culture of medicine in East Java region, especially bromo on the global scene. Bromo is an option because in addition to the development of traditional herbs (jamu) and medicine which is still a local culture, the natural beauty of Mt. Bromo that is located within the Bromo Tengger Semeru (BTS) Area is very beautiful and popular as a tourist destination. For this reason, the use of natural materials in culture and medicine in the Tengger Bromo tribe of East Java is chosen as a soul in this Summer School in 2022. Hence, the theme carried is THE SOUL OF JAMU AND BROMO CULTURAL REMEDIES.
We are inviting all students in the pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences fields to attend this summer school.
