Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), once again held a Ramadan Grand Lecture on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The event, held in the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building Hall, is an annual event held every Ramadan as part of an effort to strengthen spiritual values on campus.
The entire FF UNAIR academic community, from lecturers and administrative staff to students, attended this grand study. An atmosphere of togetherness and reverence was felt from the beginning, reflecting the spirit of Ramadan as a momentum to strengthen faith and strengthen relationships within the faculty.
This year's study carried the theme "Formulation of Gratitude: Transforming Grievances into Energy of Worship." This theme encouraged all participants to reflect on the importance of gratitude in their daily lives, especially in facing the various challenges and dynamics of academic and professional activities.
The study material was delivered by Ustadz Ahmad Syauqi, who is also a lecturer in Indonesian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities, Airlangga University (FIB UNAIR). In his presentation, he emphasized that gratitude is key to maintaining peace of mind and improving the quality of worship during Ramadan.
According to him, every complaint that arises in life can be transformed into positive energy if addressed with gratitude and spiritual awareness. He also encouraged participants to use Ramadan as a momentum for self-improvement, increasing their acts of worship, and fostering concern for others.
After the lecture, the entire academic community in attendance performed Maghrib prayer in congregation and then broke the fast together. Various dishes for breaking the fast were provided free of charge by Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR.
