
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), along with the Coordinator of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, attended an official invitation from the Indonesian Pharmaceutical Higher Education Association (APTFI) for a meeting and presentation on the implementation of the Pharmacist Professional Education Competency Test (UKPDPA). This two-day event took place on February 19–20, 2026, in Jakarta.
The UKPDPA meeting and presentation featured speakers Prof. Dr. apt. Daryono Hadi Tjahjono, M.Sc.Eng., and Dr. apt. Catur Jatmika, M.Si., who presented various strategic aspects related to policies, implementation mechanisms, and evaluation of the UKPDPA as the national standard for competency for pharmacist graduates.
The event was attended by members of the APTFI council, faculty leaders, and study program coordinators from all pharmaceutical universities offering Pharmacist Professional Study Programs in Indonesia. The presence of these leaders and administrators of the pharmacist professional education provided an important forum for aligning perceptions, strengthening coordination, and improving the quality of UKPDPA implementation nationally.
The participation of the Dean and Coordinator of the Pharmacy Profession Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), in this activity affirms FF UNAIR's commitment to supporting the APTFI policy and its ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the quality of professional, competent, and highly competitive pharmacist graduates at the national level.
