The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), held an Integrity Zone Socialization event as part of the Faculty Leadership Meeting on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building Hall. The event was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, the Chair and Secretary of the Faculty Advisory Board, Commissions I and II of the Faculty Advisory Board, Department Chairs and Secretaries, Study Program Coordinators and Secretaries, the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, the Quality Assurance Group, the Chairs and Secretaries of the Commissions, the Coordinators and members of Academic, Student, and Alumni Management, Faculty Ambassadors, the Head of Administration, and the Heads of Sub-Divisions.
The socialization was delivered by Apt. Rosita Handayani, S.Farm., M.Si, a representative of the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR Integrity Zone Development Team. In her presentation, Rosita explained various important aspects related to the implementation of the Integrity Zone (ZI) development towards a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) within Airlangga University.
According to her, the development of the Integrity Zone is part of UNAIR's commitment to realizing good governance in higher education. "The Integrity Zone is not just an administrative program, but a movement to change the work culture towards a transparent, accountable, and public service-oriented bureaucracy," she stated before the faculty leaders.
On the occasion, she also presented the structure and role of the Faculty of Pharmacy's Integrity Zone Development Team, which functions to coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of six areas of change in the ZI development. These six areas include change management, governance arrangements, human resource management system structuring, strengthening accountability, strengthening oversight, and improving the quality of public services.
Furthermore, the socialization also discussed the assessment mechanism for the development of the Integrity Zone at both the faculty and university levels, as well as the achievements of the Faculty of Pharmacy. This assessment was conducted in stages, including an internal assessment by the university's ZI team and an external evaluation by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB). The Faculty of Pharmacy has implemented various innovations, including digitizing administrative services, implementing an online reporting system, strengthening a culture of excellent service, and increasing user satisfaction for both academic and non-academic services. "This achievement is certainly inseparable from the collaboration of all elements of leadership, lecturers, and educational staff who remain committed to upholding the principle of integrity," he added.
This outreach activity received serious attention from faculty leaders. Vice Dean I of Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR, Prof. apt. Helmy Yusuf, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that all leaders within the faculty must be role models in implementing integrity values. "The commitment to building an Integrity Zone starts with the leadership. We must ensure that all service processes are transparent and oriented towards user satisfaction," he said at the closing of the meeting.
Through this activity, Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR reaffirmed its commitment to continuously strengthening clean and service-oriented institutional governance. Socialization at the leadership level is expected to be a strategic step in expanding the understanding and participation of the entire academic community in the development of the Integrity Zone on campus.
