Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR and ITERA Discuss Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) once again established an academic collaboration with the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA) through a joint class on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The topic of this class was "Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems" and was held online via the Zoom Meeting platform.
The lecture was led by Prof. Dra. apt. Esti Hendradi, M.Si., Ph.D., a professor at FF UNAIR, who served as the resource person. She delivered comprehensive material on the principles, developments, and challenges of transdermal drug delivery systems.
This joint lecture was attended by undergraduate students from both institutions. Through this event, students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of transdermal drug delivery technology, a key innovation in modern pharmacy.
This joint class aimed not only to enhance students' understanding of the course material but also to expand academic networks and enhance collaboration between universities. FF UNAIR and ITERA hope that similar activities can continue to be held on an ongoing basis to support the improvement of the quality of learning and student competency.
