The Widya Husada Foundation, owned by Faculty of Pharmacy (FF UNAIR), provides scholarships for students.
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) has a foundation to assist students in need so they can pursue higher education. The Widya Husada Foundation was established by FF UNAIR alumni in 1983. The foundation's founding was initiated by the then-Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. Dr. apt. Soetarjadi.
Today, August 14, 2025, the Widya Husada Foundation awarded scholarships to 11 deserving FF UNAIR students. Five of them are students in the Pharmacy Professional Program, and the rest are Bachelor of Pharmacy students. The scholarship award ceremony took place in the second-floor meeting room of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building.
The Acting Dean of FF UNAIR, Dr. apt. Riesta Primaharinastiti, S.Si., M.Si., was also present and presented the scholarships. Additionally, lecturers from the Widya Husada Foundation and the Coordinator of the Student Affairs Commission were also present at this important event.
The students who received the scholarships were visibly grateful and appreciative. They can now use the scholarships to continue their studies at FF UNAIR. This scholarship handover ceremony is a tangible demonstration of FF UNAIR contribution to SDG 4 Quality Education.
