The Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga has implemented academic partnership to Malaysia in May 2017 as part of MoA activities that has been in place since 2013. Participating in this visit are Vice-Dean I Dr. Riesta Primaharinastiti, S.Si., M.Si., Apt and Vice-Dean III Dewi Melani Hariyadi, S.Si.,M.Phil.,Ph.D. The academic partnership is between the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR (FFUA) and the School of Pharmacy Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia.
The two-day meeting (23-25 May 2017) between the universities provided results beneficial to the continuity of MoA activites, such as in the forms of student/staff exchange, formation of double degree program for master's degree, and community services program in rural areas as well as poor and unhealthly community in regions served by MSU.
The programs are very helpful to students and staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR, especially the students, to exchange information regarding courses, activities in education and research, as well as joint community service.
The MoU results state that student exchange, joint research, exchange of academic information and materials, double degree/joint degree program, and collaborative attachment programme activities will become joint agendas of the Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga and School of Pharmacy Management & Science University (MSU), Malaysia. It is expected that the outcome from this activity can supoprt the performance achievement of the Faculty of Pharmacy towards World Class University.
