The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), Prof. apt. Dewi Melani Hariyadi, S.Si., M.Phil., Ph.D., conducted an academic visit to the University of Sydney, Australia, to monitor the progress of one of FF UNAIR's lecturers, apt. Gesnita Nugraheni, S.Farm., M.S., who is currently pursuing a doctoral program at the university.
The visit took place on December 5, 2025.
This visit is part of FF UNAIR's commitment to ensuring the sustainability and quality of human resource development, especially for lecturers pursuing studies abroad. During the meeting, Prof. Dewi reviewed the academic progress, research achievements, and development of Ms. Gesnita Nugraheni's dissertation.
Prof. Dewi stated that FF UNAIR continues to encourage lecturers to improve their academic capacity through further studies at internationally reputable institutions.
Meanwhile, Ms. Gesnita Nugraheni expressed her appreciation for the faculty's attention and support. She hopes this visit will further strengthen research collaboration between Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR and the University of Sydney, particularly in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
This visit also serves as a momentum to open up opportunities for strategic collaboration between Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR and the University of Sydney in the fields of research, academic development, and potential student and faculty exchanges in the future.
