Five Candidates for Dean of Faculty of Medicine (FF) UNAIR for the 2025-2030 Period Present Their Ideas
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR), held an important event, the Presentation of Ideas for Dean Candidates for the 2025-2030 Period, on Thursday, August 21, 2025. This event was held in the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building Hall and served as a strategic momentum in determining the future direction of FF UNAIR's development.
Five dean candidates presented their ideas, visions, and missions to bring FF UNAIR to greater excellence and global competitiveness. The five candidates are Appointed Dean Mahardian Rahmadi, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D.; Prof. Appointed Dean Dewi Melani Hariyadi, S.Si., M.Phil., Ph.D.; Appointed Dean Andi Hermansyah, S.Farm., M.Sc., Ph.D.; Prof. Appointed Dean Helmy Yusuf, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D.; and Appointed Dean Elida Zairina, S.Si., MPH., Ph.D., FISQua.
In a spirited atmosphere, each candidate confidently presented their flagship programs, innovations, and strategies they would pursue if entrusted to lead Faculty of Faculty of Medicine (FF) UNAIR for the next five years. The ideas presented included strengthening educational quality, developing research and innovation, international collaboration, enhancing graduate competitiveness, and much more.
The event was enthusiastically received by the entire FF UNAIR academic community. Lecturers, educational staff, students, and even several alumni filled the hall. The enthusiasm was so great that the room was packed, with some even standing to watch the presentations of the vision and mission of the candidates.
With these presentations, it is hoped that the entire dean election process will run smoothly and produce a leader capable of leading FF UNAIR to even greater achievements both nationally and internationally.
