FF UNAIR and Southville International School & Colleges Philippines Hold Meeting for Sharing Session and Prepare Collaboration
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) and Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), Philippines, held a meeting on Tuesday, July 30, 2025. The meeting took place in the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building Meeting Room and marked a strategic step in strengthening international networks in pharmaceutical education and research.
The SISC delegation consisted of lecturers and students interested in learning more about the Indonesian higher education system, particularly in the field of pharmacy. This visit was part of the university's internationalization efforts and opened up opportunities for cross-border collaboration in various academic areas. This activity reflects FF UNAIR's support for realizing SDGs 4 "Quality Education" and SDGs 17 "Partnership for the Goals."
During the meeting, the two institutions discussed potential collaborations, including curriculum development, student exchanges, and research collaboration. The main agenda also included a sharing session on each institution's curriculum, an introduction to FF UNAIR's leading research groups, and an overview of international programs open to students from both institutions.
Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR (FF UNAIR) presented a curriculum structure tailored to global needs, as well as potential collaborations in clinical pharmacy research, pharmaceutical technology, and natural medicine development. Meanwhile, the SISC delegation expressed interest in establishing partnerships in the form of student exchanges and joint research.
This meeting marked the beginning of explorations into collaborations that are expected to increase international mobility of students and lecturers, strengthen research synergies between countries, and expand the international impact of FF UNAIR as a globally reputable higher education institution.
