BPOM Mataram Visits FF UNAIR to Discuss Collaboration on Laboratory Testing and Instrument Maintenance
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) has established good relations with many government agencies including the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM). The good relations that have been established brought BPOM Mataram to visit FF UNAIR today (4/12/2024). In addition to strengthening ties, BPOM Mataram's visit this time was to share knowledge on several things, especially in testing chemical drugs. The delegation from BPOM was welcomed directly by the Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Junaidi Khotib., M.Kes., Ph.D. and staff. Not only him, Prof. Dr. apt. M. Yuwono, MS. as the Head of the UNAIR Testing Service Unit (ULP) was also present to welcome them.
The purpose of BPOM Mataram's presence at FF UNAIR was to discuss cooperation related to laboratory testing and instrument maintenance. In addition, during this visit, both FF UNAIR and BPOM Mataram exchanged knowledge about the latest, most advanced instruments, especially for testing chemical drugs. The BPOM Mataram team was also invited to visit several laboratories at FF UNAIR and ULP UNAIR.
In the discussion session, they also explained that the technology of chemical drug testing instruments has developed very rapidly. Interestingly, the testing can even be done remotely.
