As a university, of course the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) cannot be separated from its duties in implementing the Tridharma. In order to support the implementation of the Tridharma, FF UNAIR often collaborates with several parties, including industry.
Starting from March 20 2023, FF UNAIR officially collaborated with PT. Bayer Indonesia. On that day, the text of the cooperation agreement was signed by Mrs. Priscilla Silvan Prarizta as Head of Supply Center Cimanggis and Mrs. Christina Widya Utami who is the GA Manager as a representative of PT. Bayer Indonesia. Meanwhile, from FF UNAIR itself, the Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Junaidi Khotib, M.Kes., Ph.D. is the one who directly signs the agreement document.
By signing the text of the cooperation agreement, both FF UNAIR and PT. Bayer Indonesia has agreed to collaborate in several fields. In accordance with what is stated in the agreement document, both of them are committed to collaborating in carrying out practical field work activities, equipment grants, factory visits, research related to development, teaching and community service.
Collaborative activities between FF UNAIR and PT. Bayer Indonesia is currently running according to plan. This collaboration will continue as long as the contract is still in effect, namely until March 19 2025. However, it does not rule out the possibility that the contract will be extended again in the future.
With this collaboration, it is hoped that FF UNAIR will be able to improve the quality of education, community welfare, and produce discoveries from research results that are useful for the wider community. This collaboration is also a form of FF UNAIR's support to achieve SDGs 17 - "partnerships for the goals".
