Mr. Yani Supriyanto and Mr. Rubiyanto Won in the 2023 UNAIR Chancellor's Cup Badminton Competition
The Chancellor's Championship in the field of sports or what is usually called the Chancellor's Cup will be held again in 2023. This activity is also a series of events commemorating the 69th Anniversary of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR).
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) certainly did not want to miss the opportunity to enliven and participate in this activity. FF UNAIR's participation every year always produces results, always bringing home the championship trophy.
This year, FF UNAIR again won the championship in badminton. After going through a long journey to win the competition from one field to the next, finally on Wednesday (11/10/2023) the wait was over. That night, the FF UNAIR badminton team finally entered the final round.
FF UNAIR men's singles player, Mr. Yani Supriyanto, won 1st place. Meanwhile, the men's doubles team which also consisted of Mr. Yani Supriyanto himself and Mr. Rubiyanto took 2nd place.
Of course, their victory makes FF UNAIR's name even more fragrant. The FF UNAIR supporters who took the time to attend were also happy because their proud team succeeded in bringing the trophy. Even the Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Junaidi Khotib, M.Kes., Ph.D. also willing to come to support the badminton team during his busy schedule.
"Thank you to all friends who have taken the time to provide support," said Mr. Yani Supriyanto.
Not only was the Dean of FF UNAIR present, at that time the Chancellor of UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak. also attended the final agenda of this competition.
Thanks to this support, Mr. Yani and Mr. Rubiyanto's enthusiasm has also strengthened. Happy smiles certainly spread from their lips because the efforts they have made so far have produced good results.
