Prof. Dewi Melani Hariyadi at FIP AIM - FIP Global Academic Leaders Forum
As the best pharmacy faculty in Indonesia, of course the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) has been involved in many international scale activities and collaborates with institutions abroad.
This time, Deputy Dean III FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Dewi Melani Hariyadi, S.Si., M.Phil., Ph.D. went to the country of kangaroos, Australia to attend an international congress representing the Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Junaidi Khotib, S.Sc., M.Kes., Ph.D. He fully participated in this activity for five days starting from 24 to 28 September 2023.
This activity was initiated by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). FF UNAIR itself has often collaborated with FIP, especially in the publication of several conferences such as ICMHS 2022 and IGSCPS 2023, but this time the two of them are working together to make the international congress a success.
The international congress in question is FIP AIM - FIP Global Academic Leaders Forum (Open event to academic pharmacy leaders). This activity is designed to strengthen institutional and professional development by bringing together pharmaceutical academic leaders from around the world to discuss leadership and pharmaceutical education in the international arena.
Taking place at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, this international activity was attended by more than 100 people from all over the world.
Prof. Dewi Melani Hariyadi, pada kesempatan itu juga berpartisipasi aktif menyampaikan materi dengan judul "In Vivo Anti-Inflammatory Activity in Bleomycin-Induced Rats of Quercetin Loaded Microspheres: Effect of Alginate Concentrations". Beliau banyak berdiskusi dengan para peserta yang merupakan pimpinan akademisi farmasi dari berbagai negara dan saling membagikan ilmu pengetahuan demi kemajuan ilmu dibidang kefarmasian. Kegiatan ini juga membuka peluang kerjasama antar institusi dari berbagai negara.
Keikutsertaan Prof. Dewi Melani Hariyadi pada kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa FF UNAIR telah banyak melakukan kerjasama dengan antar institusi berskala internasional untuk memberikan dampak yang lebih besar dan jangkauan luas. Hal ini juga sekaligus membuktikan bahwa FF UNAIR mampu mendukung ketercapaian SDGs 17 pada parameter Partnerships for the Goals.
