As we all know, pharmacists are one of the state officials who serve based on their expertise or knowledge to protect the public in the health sector. Based on this, the pharmacist oath recitation ceremony is an important agenda when pharmacists graduate from their respective universities. The Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR), which produces the best pharmacist graduates in Indonesia, never misses this agenda.
After the previous day (11/9/2023) making very thorough preparations in the form of a Rehearsal of the 116th Period Pharmacist's Oath, right today (12/9/2023) the agenda for the 116th period of the Pharmacist's Oath Recitation was officially held. A total of 198 new pharmacists who graduated from FF UNAIR accompanied by their beloved families started filling the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) Campus C UNAIR building since morning. The look of joy and pride was clearly visible on their faces.
At that time, the event was opened by the Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Junaidi Khotib, M.Kes., Ph.D. Not alone, Prof. Junaidi is side by side with other council members, namely the Vice Chancellor for Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs (Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, drh, DEA), Coordinator of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program (Dr. apt. Yunita Nita, S.Si., M.Pharm.), Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Council represented by members of the Pharmaceutical Council (Drs. Heru Sunaryo, Apt., MKM.), and Chairman of the Central Board of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association represented by Deputy General Chairman (Dr. apt. Abdul Rahem, M.Kes .).
The procession of reciting the pharmacist's oath led by the Dean of FF UNAIR was very solemn. Then, this was followed by taking oaths according to the religions of Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism and Buddhism according to the religion adopted by the new pharmacists of this period.
In the 116th period of the Pharmacist Oath, three names appeared who were the best pharmacist graduates. These three outstanding graduates are apt. Nadhira Fatharani, S. Farm. (best pharmacist 1), apt. Kevin Ksatria Handoko, S. Farm. (2nd best pharmacist), and apt. Putri Ajeng Pitaloka, S. Farm. (Best pharmacist 3).
Not only that, the NOVELL Award was also given to apt. Putri Ajeng Pitaloka, S. Farm. and apt. Clara Ayu Noventia Pradjarto, S. Farm. This was followed by the awarding of the KALBE Award to apt. Kevin Ksatria Handoko, S. Farm. Don't forget that the DEXA Award also gives awards to apt. Nadhira Fatharani, S. Farm..
Not only joy, but actually sadness also surrounds the implementation of the Pharmacist Oath 116 agenda. This is because one of the pharmacist students, namely Vina Aulia Tri Andriana, had to leave and had not had time to complete her studies. apt. Achmad Azizjauhari, S. Farm. as the representative of the new Pharmacist who gave a speech at that time also shared his sadness in remembering his comrade in arms.
