Airlangga University is increasingly at the forefront in providing its students with provisions to take part in the Independent Student Exchange (PMM) program. Through today's webinar (6/4/2023) which was held online, the university gave a Sharing Session regarding the PMM program. The webinar was delivered directly by the Director of Education and Professor of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga, Prof. Dr. Sukardiman, MS., Apt. which explains starting from the flow of registration, tips on registering, to the benefits of participating in the PMM program.
Prof. Maman, as he is affectionately known, has repeatedly emphasized that with the PMM program, students can broaden their national outlook and increase their love for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Students who take part in the PMM program will be placed at universities outside the island where the university they are taking so I hope these students can explore learning about culture from other places, add relationships or even get a mate in that place, and in the end can grow values. tolerance among fellow Indonesian citizens," said the Director of Education at Universitas Airlangga.
The event also presented alumni of the student exchange program, they were present to share their experiences when running student exchange programs outside of Java in previous years.
"Hopefully, last year's experience can add insight and interest to students who are candidates for implementing the PMM program," said Prof. Dr. Sucardiman.
Through the webinar, students are expected to have a broad view of what activities can be carried out and learn new things through the PMM program. Not a few students also showed their enthusiasm in this webinar through the many questions addressed to the speakers.
