On this day (24/2/2023) the Archives Division of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) visited the Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) UNAIR. This visit was carried out with the aim of identifying and collecting vital archive data.
Taking place in the 2nd floor courtroom of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building, this activity was attended by education staff (tendik) whose work is closely related to vital archives. Heads of Sections and Heads of Sub-Divisions were also presented at this activity.
Initially, UNAIR Archive Division gave a brief briefing on what are vital archives and their types. Vital Archives are archives whose existence is a basic requirement for the operational continuity of the archive creator, cannot be updated, and cannot be replaced if damaged or lost. Some examples of vital types of records are asset records, strategic policies, cooperation agreements and others.
With the explanations and directions given, it made it easier for FF UNAIR staff to provide this vital archival data.
Furthermore, UNAIR FF staff are required to collect vital archival data according to their respective work to the UNAIR Archives Division according to the specified time limit.
