Drug Development Group Research Benchmarking to CCRC UGM

In connection with the ongoing collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FF UGM), where currently FF UNAIR plans to develop in vitro anticancer testing, on October 24, 2022 a research team from DD-RG chaired by Prof. Dr. apt. Siswandono, M.S., accompanied by 3 team members, namely Prof. Dr. apt. Juni Ekowati, MSi., Dr. apt. Hadi guPoerwono, M.Sc and Dr. apt. Tri Widiandani, S.Si., Sp.FRS, brought with him 3 masters and doctoral students who are currently conducting research in the drug development research group to do bench marking to CCRC FF UGM. The purpose of this visit is to strengthen the collaboration that has existed previously, sharpen research opportunities and joint publications, as well as share research supervision of S2/S3 students.

The meeting took place in the courtroom of the Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences Learning Center (APSLC) 7th Floor, FFF UGM. Dr. Edy Meyanto, MSi., Apt. as Chairman of the CCRC, Dr. apt. Adam Hermawan, M.Sc as the Director of APSLC FF UGM and other Lecturers from CCRC FF UGM. The event began with a speech by the Vice Dean for Finance, Assets and Human Resources, Prof. Dr. R.R. Endang Lukitaningsih, M.Si, Apt and FFUA representatives by Prof. Dr. apt. Juni Ekowati, MSi. The event was followed by a session on explaining the CCRC's strategy to develop its group research and continued with a discussion session. Before continuing the discussion in the laboratory, a souvenir from FF UNAIR was handed over to the Vice Dean 3 of FF UGM, Dr. Rer.Nat. Nanang Fakhrudin, M.Sc., Apt and CCRC Chairman Prof. Dr. apt. Edy Meiyanto, M.Si. The event continued with the visit of the DD-RG team to the laboratory in the APSLC building (lt 1-7) and the laboratory units at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, UGM.

Bench marking to CCRC FF UGM was carried out because it was in line with one of the research focuses currently being developed at the FF UNAIR Drug Development Research Group. FF UNAIR and FF UGM have the same view to promote and develop research in Indonesia through the spirit of collaboration.
