The 3rd International Summer School, Association of Indonesian Pharmacy Higher Education (AIPHE) Year of 2022 has entered its ninth day (26/08/2022). Carrying the theme "The Soul of Jamu and Bromo Cultural Remedies", international students held the agenda of Field Visits and Interviews Ethnophrmaceuticals in Bromo and Community Development.
Exactly at 14.00 WIB from the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building, international students left for Ngadisari Village, Sukapura District, Probolinggo Regency, East Java. The journey to the village was divided into several groups using Hiace's car.
At 16.00 WIB, international students arrived at Ngadisari Village, precisely at Bawangan Restaurant. The activity started with Gethering night and Cross Culture where the participants interacted with each other between countries and performed special performances according to the characteristics of their country.
The performances displayed were quite diverse, which were opened by Indonesian students who performed folk songs from various regions with the theme "Wonderland Indonesia", which was then followed by performances from Malaysian students who performed voice shows, dances and introduced traditional Malaysian clothes. In addition, the Yemeni students were no less extraordinary who performed Yemeni dances and introduced unique Yemeni clothes and Chinese students who performed traditional Chinese hand dances with music that fit perfectly in the atmosphere in Ngadisari Village. All students from various countries display extraordinary performances with the characteristics of each country.
That night at Bawangan Restaurant, all international students enjoyed the event. They interact with each other, eat together, and share stories about the culture they have in their own country. After the Gethering night and Cross Culture activities, international students continued their journey to the inn in Ngadisari Village.
