A BENCHMARKING VISIT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MALANG TO THE FACULTY OF PHARMACEUTICAL PHARMACEUTICAL UNIVERSITY AIRLANGGA

Today (21/6), the Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) received another visit from universities. This time the Dean and staff from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Malang (FMIPA UM) visited for benchmarking to the Pharmacy Undergraduate Study Program.

Taking place in the main courtroom of FF UNAIR, the event began with remarks by the Deputy Dean I of FF UNAIR, Dr. apt. Riesta Primaharinastiti, S.Si., M.Sc. Then the event continued with remarks by the Dean of FMIPA UM, Prof. Dr. Hadi Suwono, M.Si. In his speech he also explained that his faculty plans to establish several new study programs, one of which is a Bachelor of Pharmacy. With this plan, he and other FMIPA staff who participated in the visit that day hoped to get a lot of important knowledge from FF UNAIR which already has a Bachelor of Pharmacy study program.

During the discussion session, the invitees enthusiastically discussed the curriculum and what facilities are owned by FF UNAIR in running the Bachelor of Pharmacy study program. The explanation related to the curriculum was presented directly by the Head of the S1 Pharmacy Study Program, Mr. apt. Chrismawan Ardianto, S.Farm., M.Sc., Ph.D. Then regarding what facilities are owned by FF UNAIR explained by the Deputy Dean II of FF UNAIR, Mr. apt. Mahardian Rahmadi, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. Don't forget Dr. apt. Yunita Nita, S.Si., M.Pharm. who is the Head of the Pharmacist Profession Study Program also explained the PKP system and several other matters related to the Pharmacist Profession Study Program.

In addition to discussing the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program, the visiting team from FMIPA UM also hopes to collaborate with FF UNAIR. Responding to this, Prof. apt. Dewi Melani Hariyadi, S.Si., M.Phil., Ph.D. as Deputy Dean III of FF UNAIR said that FF UNAIR with open arms accepted the invitation for cooperation, of course, while still adjusting the tridharma of higher education, namely in the fields of education, research, and community service.

At the end of the event, all the invitees did not forget to take a group photo. Apart from giving souvenirs from both parties, there was also a session.
