Waingapu.Com - Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Surabaya performed a road show in Waingapu District, East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This road show was done in several location and targetted for several elements such as teacher, high & vocational school students, and radio listeners.
As monitored on the road show that introduced Faculty of Pharmacy held in East Sumba Regional Secretary Hall on Saturday (21/07), started from morning until day, it was attended by students from some high and vocational schools accompanied by their teachers. On that event, Vice Dean I of Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR, DR. Riesta Primaharinastiti, M. S.Apt, explained the material about Apothecary Education. After giving the material, question and answer session was also occured interestingly. The most dominant questions asked by the students were about scholarship program and the superiority of Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR.
There was not only one source person, the students and accompanying teacher were also enriched with information given by other interviewees. The Head of Master of Clinical Pharmacy department UNAIR, Prof. DR. Suharjono , M.S. Apt, explained the material about Master of Clinical Pharmacy Education. Furthermore, the material about Master of Pharmaceutical Science Education was delivered by Prof. DR. Bambang Prayogo, E.W, M. S. Apt.
"It is hoped that with this road show the students will get to know more about Universitas Airlangga, especially the various departments and levels of study in the Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga," said Riesta Primaharinastiti to the journalist after presenting material.
On the same day and time, this road show also targetted the pharmacists incorporated in Indonesian Pharmacist Association (Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia (IAI)) in Sumba region. The members of IAI got the lesson about the technique sterile product aceptica technique in Jimmy Hotel hall - Matawai - Waingapu. The very competenced source person in this field was presented, who was DR. Dewi Isadiartuti , M.Si, Apt.
In this opportunity, the Master programs in Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga were also socialized by DR. Bambang Prayogo, Apt and Prof. DR. Suharjono, Apt which was also accompanied with the practice of aseptic technique by the facilitator of Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga. With this training, it was hoped that it could give refreshment and additional knowledge for the pharmacists, midwives, and nurses in giving service to the people.
The listeners of Max FM Radio were also greeted by these UNAIR experts. Interactive dialogue was conducted on the yard of this radio studio located in Kallu Village - Prailiu. Four interviewees were presented by the radio founded and managed by Heinrich D. Dengi, who was also the alumnus of Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR. The topic about the introduction of medication and traditional medication using natural ingredients was explained by Prof. DR. Bambang Prajogo, EW. MS. Apt and DR. Wahyu Utami, MS. Apt as the interviewees and was held on Friday (20/07). On Saturday (21/07) night and on the same place, the material about 'Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan dan Buang (DAGUSIBU) was presented by two interviewees, who were DR. Sugiyartono, MS. Apt and Prof. DR. Suharjono, MS, Apt.
