Today, 8 April 2021, a lecturer from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga was inaugurated as a Professor in a ceremony held in the Garuda Mukti Hall, UNAIR Rectorate Building. In this event, 5 lecturers were inaugurated as professors. One of them was Prof. Dr. Bambang Tri Purwanto, MS., Apt. from the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR
The event was opened by the Rector followed by a prayer led by Afri Andiarto, SM. as well as reading of short profiles of new professors by UNAIR Rector.
The inauguration ceremony was then continued with the reading of scientific oration by the new professor, Prof. Dr. Bambang Tri Purwanto, MS., Apt. who delivered a speech entitled”MEDICAL CHEMISTRY AND ITS ROLE IN NEW DRUG DEVELOPMENT”.
After the reading of the scientific oration, the event was continued with singing the song “Putra Airlangga Bangkit”, prior to the speech greeting delivered by the Rector.
On his remark, Universitas Airlangga Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT, Ak., CMA, stated the importance for professors to continue working and establishing more monumental works.
