The 3rd International Summer School, Association of Indonesian Pharmacy Higher Education (AIPHE) Year of 2022 has entered its tenth day (27/08/2022). Carrying the theme "The Soul of Jamu and Bromo Cultural Remedies", international students and Summer School participants held the agenda of Field Visits and Interviews Ethnophrmaceuticals in Bromo and Community Development.
After conducting interviews with the people of Ngadisari Village, international students and Summer School participants carried out the Planting of Toga Trees (Family Medicinal Plants). Those who were divided into several groups planted various types of plants on vacant land in Ngadisari Village.
The event was opened with tree planting by international students, which was then ended by planting by the Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlanga, namely Apt. Mahardian Rahmadi, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. Previously, international students were shown how to plant properly by the committee in charge. In planting this toga tree, it is hoped that this plant can be maintained, grow well and be used by the people of Ngadisari Village.
At the end of this event, international students took a group photo with the plants they planted as well as the Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga and Lecturers who were also present at the event.
