Krisyanti Budipramana, S.Farm., M.Farm., as the first speaker. Starting with the understanding and classification of herbs. The existence of herbal medicine is related to the beliefs and thoughts of the ancient Indonesian people.

Panca Maha Bhuta is a philosophy of medicine based on Balinese thought and Hindu beliefs. Panca Maha Bhuta comes from the word "Panca" which means "five", "Maha" which means "main", and "Bhuta" which means "element". These five elements consist of soul, water, solid, heat, and liquid.

The second discusses the philosophy of Javanese medicine. Herbal medicine has been part of the community's medicine since the time which is stated in the reliefs of Borobudur Temple. This is also reinforced by evidence of written heritage.

The existence of herbal medicine that is attached to the people in Indonesia is a concern for the Indonesian government. Currently, traditional medicines in Indonesia have been divided into several groups based on the Head of BPOM No. HK.00.05.4.2411 in 2004. This classification is displayed in the packaging of drugs like the distribution of drug classes in general.

The current pandemic period makes the consumption of herbal medicine among the people in Indonesia increase so that many herbal products are circulating. However, at this time Indonesia already has a way so that the public can access whether the products they meet meet the standards. Consumers simply enter the product name and registration number.

Then the second session was presented by Dr. apt. Noorma Rosita, M.Si. which discusses Herbal Cosmetics and Related Problems. This session begins with the basics of cosmetics and medicine, both understanding, differences, and products that are considered intersect.

In the manufacture of cosmetic products there are Active Ingredients which can be synthetic or natural. Cosmetic products with herbal active ingredients have increased demand in recent years and are predicted to have good prospects. Especially with the condition of Indonesia which has natural potential and excellent natural material sources. However, the process has many steps and formulations that must be considered.

The activity was followed by a discussion session which went well. The participants enthusiastically asked questions. The session ended with the distribution of certificates to the presenters. The presenter closed by reading out the schedule for the next day and announcing the results of the quiz.
