On Thursday (16/6) PT. Coway International Indonesia handed over 10 units of water purifier to Universitas Airlangga, which were accepted by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR). The delivery of this water purifier is a form of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program from PT. Coway International Indonesia.
The ten water purifier units will later be placed on each floor of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building to be used by all visitors and the academic community in FF UNAIR.
Besides being attended by the leaders, staff, and students of FF UNAIR, the activity on that day was also attended by Mr. Jeon Chan as Chief Marketing & Education of PT. Coway International Indonesia, accompanied by several of its staff.
Prof. Junaidi Khotib, Dean of FF UNAIR, admitted that he is very supportive and enthusiastic about this program because according to him the use of a water purifier is in line with the aim of protecting the community from the dangers of BPA exposure in plastic drinking water packaging. In addition, the use of this tool can also realize the ideals of FF UNAIR to implement an environmentally friendly green campus to support UNAIR's SDGs program.
At the end of the event, FF UNAIR distributed a tumblr or bottle of drinking water to the audience so that they can try drinking water that has been filtered by a water purifier from PT. Coway International Indonesia.
