DAY 2 OF GILI IYANG COMMUNITY SERVICE

On the second day, medicinal plants were planted in Bancamara Village. A little information about Bancamara Village, the village is famous for having the best oxygen on Gili Iyang Island.

 

KBK Pharmacognosy and Phytochemicals (FARFIT) is a PIC of the pioneering medicinal plants planted. There are 4 plant pilot clusters, namely medicinal plants for cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, and immune boosters.

 

The activity on the second day was also attended by the Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. Junaidi Khotib, and Deputy Dean II of FF UNAIR, Mr. Mahardian Rahmadi, Ph.D. Accompanied by the Village Head and Dungkek District Staff, both of them looked very excited and enthusiastic about the activity.

 

The Community Service Team hopes that with the medicinal garden, residents can make good use of medicinal plants. In addition, it is hoped that the medicinal garden can also be developed and cultivated by the surrounding community as well as possible.
