Rector Appreciates 2019 Faculty Achievements through Awarding

UNAIR NEWS – After holding a sharing motivation at the second-day leadership meeting on Monday, January 27 in Dialoog Hotel. The next activity was filled with discussion sessions between leaders divided into eight groups. The discussion aims to answer the questions given by the chancellor and provide concrete solutions in answering these challenges. There were five issues discussed in the discussion, namely citation, e-learning development, developing the quality of human resources, improving community welfare, and university income.

Prof. Moh Nasih SE., M.T., Ak., CMA also appreciated the faculty achievements obtained during 2019. There were 20 categories of achievements that were appreciated by Rector. Among them, accredited “A” study programs, the number of national-level student achievements, international student achievements, international students, double degree students, online courses, professors, lecturers, lecturers with doctoral degrees, Scopus articles publication, citations, research proposal, community service proposal, patents, IPRs, mass media opinion, website score, adjunct professors, inbound staff, and inbound students.

Out of 20 categories, 4 faculties received the most nominations: Faculty of pharmacy with eight categories, Faculty of Dental Medicine with five categories, Faculty of Public Health and the Faculty of Science and Technology as many as four categories, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, and Faculty Social Sciences and Political sciences as much as three categories.

Besides, the awards were also given to leadership meeting participants with the best answers in solving concrete obstacles and giving solution for UNAIR. Author: Khefti Al Mawalia
