The event of PharmaDay was carried out by students of Class 2016 of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga, starting from Monday (11/25/2019). On Thursday (11/28/2019), it was the turn of Group B-2 to carry out PharmaDay activity. This activity was conducted at PLK Campus B Universitas Airlangga, precisely at Jalan Dharmawangsa No. 3 Surabaya. Group B-2 of PharmaDay carried the theme of Complete Basic Immunization in Children. The focus of the activity this time was about the function of vaccines given to children. The topics and material presented were intended to be able to add insight to the community regarding the use and importance of vaccines so that they were expected to increase public awareness of immunization.
The PharmaDay event this time was packaged attractively by group B-2. Various games were given as a means of delivering information. In addition, special treatments such as giving snacks to participants were also done. Providing education about what the function of each vaccine given to children was also done with counseling one on one method. The targets of PharmaDay activity this time were the patients of PLK Campus B, consumers at Airlangga Pharmacy, and pedestrians around PLK Campus B. This activitywass carried out starting at 9 am - 12 pm.
One of the techniques done by group B2 in order to stay motivated and actively provide counseling is to divide themselves into 3 smaller groups. Each group conducted counseling in PLK Kampus B, in the Airlangga Pharmacy, and around the shady pedestrian. From this counseling, a lot of things were obtained by the instructor, namely group B-2, one of which was how to work together in order to achieve the agreed goals.
